Hymns By the Pond

Join us next Sunday evening, June 23rd at 6pm for an evening of “Hymns by the Pond”. This will be a time of praise and worship, followed by an ice cream supper, served by our young adults. Donations will be accepted for our young adults who will be attending the “Passion” Conference in January 2020. Don’t forget to bring your lawn chair!

 

Next Step Sundays

Sunday, June 23 & 30, will be our Next Step Sundays. This will be an opportunity for you to take your next step to help fulfill the ministry needs here at NLF. Sign ups for our various ministry teams will be available.

 

Moms-N-More

Attention Moms! Do you need a little encouragement and support to know that you’re not alone as a mom? Moms-n-More is starting up again this summer! The first meeting will be Thursday, June 27th here at NLF. This group of moms will meet every other Thursday in the café from 6-7pm; childcare will be provided. On August 8th, Moms-n-More will wrap up the summer by meeting at Lucy’s Ice Cream (child care will not be provided). Please sign up at the Women’s Desk or contact Kiersten Bontrager, Carlie Cripe, or Alissa McDonald for more info.

 

Connect Ministry Summer Activities

Attention parents of pre-teens: Please take note of these fun activities planned for your pre-teens (just completed 4th & 5th grade) this summer:

  • June 19: Miniature Golf & Pizza (Meet at NLF at 4:00pm)
  • July 17: Swimming & Lucy’s Ice Cream (Meet at NLF at 10:00am)
  • August 2: Movie & Lock-In at NLF (Meet at NLF at 8:00pm)

Parents: please stop by the Meeting Place and sign your child up so that transportation can be arranged. Also, parents are needed to help chaperone these events. Contact Mary Bultemeier for more info.

 

Women’s Life

Women’s Coffee/Breakfast meets Wednesday mornings at 8:30 am at Country Corral in Shipshewana. All ladies are invited!

 

Ladies Summer Bike Rides

Ladies summer bike rides take place on Monday evenings at 6pm. This week’s ride will be on the Pumpkin Vine (Start & Park at CR 43) to the Essenhaus.     A schedule of summer bike rides is available at the Women’s Desk. For more info, contact Kay Simmons or Kim Taylor.
