OPPORTUNITIES:

Blessed Portions

NLF Women’s Ministry is collecting winter items for “Blessed Portions”, a ministry to the homeless in Ft. Wayne. Men’s boots, coats, gloves, and hand warmers are needed. These items can be brought to the church and placed at the Women’s Ministry desk from now until the end of October. Please contact Donna Bontrager for more information.

ON THE SCHEDULE:

Trunk or Treat

The Kids’ Country Trunk or Treat event is Wednesday, October 30th from 5:30-7pm! All NLF children are invited to come in costume and participate! Cookies and cider will be available. In case of inclement weather, this event will be moved inside the church. Candy donations are still being accepted and may be placed in the bins at the Info Desk and in the Kids’ Country hallway.

Women’s Life

Ladies Bible Study meets on Mondays at 9:45am and 6:30pm. Women’s Coffee/Breakfast meets Wednesday mornings at 8:30 am at the Country Corral in Shipshewana. All ladies are invited!

Man Up

The Man Up Bible study, “No More Excuses” (Tony Evans) meets on Tuesday evenings from 6-7pm. All men are invited! This study challenges men to lay down their excuses, stop compromising, and fight to be a man of character and commitment. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience community and accountability with other NLF men.

Muwendo Children’s Choir

Mark your calendars for a special Sunday morning worship experience on November 24th. The Muwendo Children’s Choir, from Uganda Africa, will be singing in our worship service as well as displaying African crafts available for purchase. A free will offering will be taken.
